ENDLESS CORPORATE TREKKING IN SERRA DA LOUSÃ

“On the way to the crib villages!”

Game of average difficulty with enigmas hidden in the mountains!

In the middle of the forest of chestnut trees and other species, the sounds of small insects are heard: the imagination awakens! With an echo, the steps are heard in the valley. Groups of men and women climb the mountain through winding paths, searching clues and unravelling ancient mysteries! Far away is the “crib village”!
Here’s the Talasnal!

It’s a huge challenge! All leave from the Castle of Lousã, also known as the castle of Arouce, which dates back to the time of Afonso Henriques! They walk, divided in teams with guidance of maps and land signs, towards the shale village – Talasnal! The path is winding and steep, but green and with a breathtaking view over the valley!

Each team will have to find clues hidden among the groves and rocks, unravelling ancient mysteries and reinventing stories of other times, when the people of the mountain would go up and down those slops carrying what they would take and bring from the markets and fairs of the village of Lousã, for their own sustainance!

Up in Talasnal, the typical shale village, with its narrow and flowery streets, field with delightful nooks and lazy cats, surprises are waiting, some of them very pleasant, like a tasting challenge and… who knows what else?! You may learn how to bake broa (a type of bread) in an original wood oven!
